The Electronics Program will provide you with the fundamental information to understand basic circuits and components, and their application to practical devices while teaching you the theory of AC and DC electricity and electronics. This course is designed to provide the student with a basic working understanding of electrical technology. Beginning with the structure of the atom, the smallest particle of an element, and ending with complex circuitry, you will gain a thorough knowledge of electronic components, including their functions, troubleshooting, and safety. In this section, you will be introduced to the basic operations of translators, including transistor bias, type of resistors, operational amplifiers, and the purpose and configuration of op-amps. This course will also take you to an online circuit simulator by which you have the chance to apply what you learn and have fun with it.
The courses for AC and DC Principles of Electronics are designed to explore appearance and general operating principles of multiple electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors, and how they are used to build functioning electronic circuits.
The course for Solid State Electronics is designed to explore the characteristics of analog semiconductor devices and their applications in common electronic circuits.
The course for Digital Electronics is designed to introduce you to digital technology while emphasizing the fundamentals and key characteristics of digital logic design.
