This program is designed to introduce learners to the MS Office Suite software which is used in today’s business environment. Each course consists of a specific focus within the MS Office Suite. Each course includes matching activities, that afford students practical applications and tools for developing and creating presentations, databases, charts, simple formulas for personal and business use. Learners will receive skillsets and certificates of completion which can be applied in today’s workforce. It also prepares learners for the MOUS competency exams.

  • Demonstrate the essential components for creating and editing a presentation
  • Describe methods of inclusion of sound, graphics, and animation
  • Understand the collaboration and delivery process of a presentation
  • Identify various methods for creating mail merges and macro components
  • Explain the features for creating templates and file management
  • Arrange and associate files between software
  • Illustrate the formatting of worksheets (row, height and table settings), calculations, charts, and correcting errors
  • Define cell copying, absolutes versus relative, and the organization of worksheet data
  • Establish database objects, properties, operations, designs, tables, fields
  • Depict the purpose of creating queries, running queries, customizing the navigation pane
  • Explain the maintenance of a database, filtering records, mass changes, validation rules, ordering records
  • Ascertain the benefits of creating forms, adding special fields, creating combination boxes, command buttons, the use of macros, and controlling layouts
